Marusaka Midorigoi #1 33cm

The origins of Marusaka Koi Farm dates back to the late 1940's. The current owner, Teruyuki Hiroi is a 3rd generation Koi breeder who, in his earlier years, also apprenticed under  Mr Ichiro Mano from Izumiya Koi Farm in Niigata. Marusaka is well know for a breeding quality Sanke and many other varieties to a high standard. Their doitsu and metallic doitsu fish are outstanding across the board and we're especially fond of the Kin Kikokuryu and Hariwake. The Kujaku are also note worthy along with the Kin Ki Utsuri. The first Midorigoi came from a crossing of Shusui and Yamabuki Ogon, so they were always doitsu fish - Marusaka stabilised the first scaled Midorigoi and now offers oustanding examples in both scaled and doitsu.
