Description
A hardy native marginal plant with attractive pincushion-shaped violet-blue flowers from mid to late summer. Succisa pratensis, commonly known as Devil’s-bit scabious, adds natural colour and movement around pond edges and wildlife areas while attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Best planted in moist soil or shallow water around the pond margin. A great choice for wildlife-friendly ponds and natural planting schemes.
