Description

Nymphaea ‘Paul Hariot’ is a distinctive hardy water lily known for its warm changing flower colours, opening in shades of apricot and copper before developing into soft orange and yellow tones as the blooms mature. The flowers sit beautifully on the pond surface and appear from late spring through to early autumn, bringing unusual colour and interest to the water garden.

The plant produces attractive rounded floating lily pads that spread across the surface of the water, helping to provide natural shade which can reduce sunlight penetration and assist in limiting algae growth. The pads also provide shelter and resting areas for fish and other pond wildlife.

Supplied in a 3 litre hexagonal aquatic planting basket, this variety is ideal for medium-sized ponds, where it will gradually spread to create a colourful and balanced display on the water surface.

Water lilies are an important part of a healthy pond environment, helping to shade the water while adding beauty and seasonal colour to the pond.

Planting depth: 30–60cm from the top of the basket to the water surface
Position: Full sun
Spread: 80–120cm
Growth rate: Moderate
Hardiness: Fully hardy in the UK

A unique and eye-catching water lily that brings warm changing colours and natural surface coverage to ponds and water gardens.
