Maruhiro Koi Farm is located in Minaminigoro village, in Niigata, Japan. A loved and very respected breeder who produces a wide range of varieties; gosanke, hikarimono, kawarimono, etc.
The farm is owned and run by Hironori Hirasawa and his wife. Nishikigoi are clearly entwined in the Hirasawa DNA - Hironori is the son of Seitaro Hirasawa, the founder of Marusei Koi Farm which his brother Yoshiyuki currently runs.
Maruhiro is well known for its large, round pond inside their fish house, that is usually stacked with huge koi! This farm is synonymous with BIG fish in multiple varieties. Stunning Koi with great body formation and impressive growth are a staple part of the Maruhiro stock.
